Amazon Receives 10,000 Electric Delivery Vehicles
Additional Companies Can Now Purchase Rivian's Fleet
Electric vehicle maker Rivian (RIVN) has announced that it will open up its fleet of delivery vans for purchase by other companies. This move comes as Rivian continues to fulfill its commitment to help Amazon put 100,000 electric vehicles on the road by 2030. Amazon has already rolled out over 10,000 of these custom electric delivery vehicles, and customers across the United States will soon see them delivering packages.
In addition to the 100,000 custom electric delivery vehicles ordered by Amazon, Rivian has also put over 15 models of electric vehicles on the market. However, Rivian has yet to turn a profit.
